We bring the skills we have accrued in our more than fifty years of experience in the world of fashion to each creative project that is entrusted to us, with the utmost confidentiality, and merging tradition, craftsmanship and innovation.
The company was founded by Piera and Luciano Benelli in the early 70s. From those beginnings, we have inherited an artisanal savoir faire that represents the solid foundation we have built upon to reach the present day.
We have grown thanks to the dedication of the people who shared our aspirations and values, while always putting the quality that comes from meticulous attention to detail front and centre.
What makes a team a good team?
The answer we have come to is to believe in the value of people, to create the conditions so that each person can give their best, to protect the skills they have acquired and to keep a curious eye on the future.
Founded by a woman, the backbone of the company has always been the passionate resolve of women's work. We owe the real '”savoir faire” to them and we are proud to say that our team predominantly consists of women.
Why is creativity one of our core values?
Because creativity is the endorphin that produces beauty, the fire that forges improvement, and the drive that surprises. We bring together and make designers' ideas a reality by fusing their creativity with our own.
These are simple questions, which it is good to ask yourself every day, because quality is a focus that must be pursued and cultivated. Every day. We do this by conducting research into outstanding raw materials, focusing on product durability and attention to detail, which make the difference.
Why have we included “techno-craftsmanship” among our principles?
It is no coincidence that we wanted to include this keyword as one of our values. The reason? It represents the link between what we were and what we have become.
Technology and craftsmanship represent our strengths, two areas of expertise and two ways of operating that work in synergy to create unique and original products.
What does it mean to be sustainable?
The answer lies in the word itself. It means: supporting, approving, protecting, maintaining, and caring for the environment and the people who inhabit it.
This is why we strove to obtain the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification for textiles made with natural fibres from organic farming and the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard, which reflects all the virtuous business practices that promote environmental sustainability and protect working conditions, in favour of a healthier and fairer society, internationally.
Going from concept to idea creation is a journey of experimentation, imagination, and study. This is research - a passionate, creative endeavour, capable of giving the right form to the project.
The creation of a prototype brings together all the research and creative efforts behind product development. This is a crucial phase that is managed in-house with the utmost confidentiality and respect for deadlines. A step that is a prelude to the next: industrialising.
The industrialisation process starts with taking charge of product development with the analysis of every single step. The artisan workshops involved in our production cycle are highly certified and undergo painstaking quality control. They are reliable partners who believe in our company values and whom we have chosen for the high quality of their work, attention to detail, precision, and ability to meet deadlines.
Quality is something that should be cultivated and pursued on a daily basis, made up of choices and an approach to the trade that gives it a central role. This is a virtuous company practice where every single step is subjected to a painstaking quality control process to ensure it meets our standards. The aim here is twofold: product quality and production efficiency.
